RX3i Advanced Smart Digital Output Module

The Smart Digital Output module, IC695MDL765 provides 16 points of 12/24VDC or 125VDC output with Electronic Short-circuit Protection.  Output characteristics are compatible with a wide range of output devices, such as relays, motors, pumps, pilot light and valves. The advanced diagnostics include No-load, Open Wire, Failed Switch Detection, Output Pulse Test, Overload Detection and Shutdown.  The Output Pulse Test is an optional diagnostic feature that exercises the output points to confirm they can be switched and can report either logic level.  The pulse test attempts to switch the output from its Normal State to its Default State. For a load with a Normal State of ON, the source output is pulsed off. For a load with a Normal State of OFF, the source output is pulsed on. A fault is logged if a failure is detected in the source output point.  The diagnostics is logged in the CPU and also displayed on the module. The module is ideal for customers that can’t afford machine downtime.  This module can be installed in any I/O slot in an RX3i Universal Backplane (IC695CHSxxx).
