CSense Process Performance Software
CSense is an easy to use, rapid process troubleshooting and process improvement software suite that enables the user to visualise the process, rapidly identify causes of problems and to deploy real-time, automated solutions, in a single software environment.
CSense combines a formal troubleshooting methodology with advanced technology in a practical easy-to-use product suite. The user is guided simply from data to action. CSense facilitates the visibility of real-time data in its operating context, and includes tools for enhanced decision support and role-based display of performance against operating metrics.
CSense is the ideal tool to benefit Continuous Improvement; 6 Sigma or Increased-efficiency / productivity initiatives, through the use of advanced single and multivariable (SPC) statistical evaluation.
CSense is entirely scalable in its application, from simple applications that enable knowledge discovery on historical data, to complex advanced multivariable solutions. These process performance solutions help companies achieve a higher level of operational excellence by allowing them to better leverage their detailed information assets.
In essence, CSense, effectively uses data to identify challenges and problems. Then uses this information to learn and share insights into the process, which can then be used to solve process problems and bottlenecks. CSense delivers the ability to do powerful things with plant data and provide useful process insight.
Effectively Use Data - Identify Challenges – Learn and Share Insights – Solve Process Problems
The user is guided simply from DATA to ACTION.
CSense software has been rigorously developed to enable easy interfacing with all market leading SCADAs, DCS and Company Portals.
Motherwell Automation is the CSense Partner for Australia. We work in conjunction with a number of Solution Partners to deliver advanced process control opportunities, process performance enhancement solutions using CSense software technology.
Applications for CSense:
• Intelligent Monitoring; – Monitoring of Statistical Process capabilities on a single variable SPC and multivariable basis.
• Process diagnosis and optimisation, through modelling and simulation of Process Conditions
• Supervisory Process control; Operator decision support; to reduce or eliminate operator inconsistency; and enhance knowledge sharing.
• Materials accounting, condition management of processes and equipment (asset management).
• Inferential measurement and Control, artificial Neural Networks modelling etc
• Data validation
• Defect troubleshooting, process optimisation and stabilisation, process plant control
• Chemistry predictors, Soft sensors (Ideal for use around advanced online scanners and sensors, eg Titrators, pH meters etc which are inherently subject to cleaning and calibration).
• Increase the lifespan of equipment through 'condition health monitoring'
• Provide on-line mass and energy balances for improved materials accounting
In fact, anywhere that you'd want to increase throughput, yield or recovery, or to improve quality and energy efficiency.
