Formula Industrial Engines form part of Nematron’s fully integrated family of Industrial Control Computers & Monitors and is the ideal platform for applications where there is either no monitor requirement or a need to displace the system unit from the Monitor. Equipped with the exact same specification as the Formula Panel PCs a Formula Industrial Engine is ideal where the customer has insufficient room for the entire system chassis or perhaps prefers to avoid locally high vibration.

The Nematron Formula Industrial Engine is based on a high quality, zinc plated chassis design for factory floor and Industrial IT applications. Both the single and three PCI slot chassis feature low power Pentium M and Celeron M technology plus an exhaustive range of options.

An innovative drive carrier design will support a 2.5” HDD, a Floppy Drive, a Slim CDRW/DVD and a second HDD simultaneously. Add to this a 2D/3D Graphics Engine with 64MB, 3 Ethernet ports up to 1000 Mbps Ethernet Controller and we know you’ll get the right Formula!

Using the similar core components for simplicity and ease of maintenance, the F3 shares the, drive technology, general electronics and motherboard architecture as the F1 giving a high degree of inter-changeability. The Engine Bay shares the same low power Pentium & Celeron M Series processor technology for cool running and the energy conscious Formula has an ‘on-demand’ processor activated Engine Bay cooling system to reduce consumption and unnecessary fan use. Formula Industrial Engines also make the ideal platform for XP Embedded applications where higher performance processors are required as well as providing the perfect partner for the Formula Industrial Monitor range.
