Multi Differential Relay – MDR-2

The MDR-2 is a differential current relay intended for protection of a generator against internal short circuits (leaking currents). It is based on a 16 bit digital signal processor providing maximum performance and reliability.

•    3-phase detection of current on primary and secondary side of the generator
•    Active, adjustable compensation of non-balanced current measurements
•    Measuring accuracy 1%
•    Stress-free configuration and operation via clear and simple menu structure
•    DIN-rail or base mounting with remote mountable display
•    Approved according to LR, GL, etc. 

All measured and calculated values are shown in clear text and numbers on the large LCD display (allowing significant savings on purchase and wiring of external meters).

Available options include a block (generator + step-up transformer) protection option and a short circuit and overcurrent protection option.
