Imagine that two generals are each camped with their armies on two hilltops, with enemy forces filling the valley in between. Motherwell Automation today announced their successful renewal of accreditation as an authorised Moxa MTSC Partner.  Certification was achieved and awarded across all Moxa product categories including Device Connectivity, Embedded Computing, Industrial Networking and Industrial Wireless.

The Moxa Technical Support Certification (MTSC) was established to guarantee that customers around the world receive the most up-to-date, on-time assistance with their Moxa products. To obtain certification, engineers are required to attend regular training sessions led by Moxa's own technical support experts, and must pass a rigorous array of tests.

Rob commented on his return that "Motherwell Automation have been an approved supplier of Moxa products for several years now, and the renewal of the MTSC certification continues to recognise Motherwell Automation's commitment to and expertise in the Moxa range of products.

"Motherwell Automation can not only assist and advise clients in the correct selection, configuration and implementation of Moxa products; we can now take that to a much higher value added level." Blackburn said.  "Our aim is to provide extensive after sales and technical support in the form of warranty, troubleshooting, and general product support regarding configuration, integration and maintenance".

"Moxa has been offering world-class industrial networking products for more than twenty years. They manufacture technologically innovative, robust, quality products which are backed by strong technical and after sales support.  The Moxa brand is recognised and utilised extensively by industrial systems integrators across a broad range of industry globally.

CSense is a Necessity in an Economic Downturn Wednesday, August 19, 2009

There are two rarely acknowledged benefits of an economic downturn; it's a wakeup call to cut production costs and it gives you more time to think about how you're going to do that cutting. Just a year ago, cutting production costs was the first item on the agenda – now it's the only item on the agenda. And the old adage of being too busy to try something new can no longer be used as an excuse because a slowdown, no matter how modest, gives you the ideal opportunity to implement improvements so that you'll be ready for the inevitable upturn.

According to Warren Buffett, possibly one of the greatest investors of all time, "Be fearful when others are greedy, and be greedy when others are fearful." Since the Great Depression of 1929, there's never been a more opportune time to be greedy and to want a bigger share of the pie when the economy turns. It's Buffett's opinion that "...most major companies will be setting new profit records 5, 10 and 20 years from now."
